PLL Logistics follows the process of diminishing manufacturing sources material shortages (DMSMS) to proactively mitigate obsolescence of resources through a system’s life cycle. PLL Logistics provides the following to ensure an effective program:
(a) configuration management of the engineering bill of materials (BOM) down to the piece part level; (b) continuous monitoring of the BOM and proactively identify DMSMS impacts and pursue mitigations of cost-effective solutions; and (c) report and track performance and cost metrics.
